The London Dungeon offers free entry to A-Level students with two or more Ds and Es

The London Dungeon will offer FREE entry to woeful students who get more Ds and Es than 'Dungeon' in their A-Level exams this year.

Those anticipating disappointing results this Thursday can find solace in knowing if they get two or more Ds or Es on their results slip, they’ll gain free entry to an experience far more shocking and sordid than their grades, making the memory of their results a thing of the past.

Rather than wallowing in self-pity, students can escape the reality of being the family disappointment with a torture of a different kind in the London Dungeon, to prove that there are scarier things than sub-par scores.

On results day, 15^th August, the first 100 students to show their ‘rubbish’ results can leave their worries of the future at the door, and step back in time to uncover the unsettling tales of London’s darkest past to give education one last shot and scrub up on their history knowledge with a more memorable approach.

A London Dungeon spokesperson said: “Though some might be disappointed with Ds and Es on their results slip this week, a visit to our dungeon will remind them that things could in fact be worse…much worse. As students get up close and personal to history, they’ll be thankful to leave the executioner’s block with their heads not only still intact but full of newly-found knowledge of London’s rotten past!”

Students can experience the spine-chilling summer show Rotten Royals which will transport them back in time to 1649 and the violent end of the reign of King Charles I – which resulted in the abolition of the British monarchy for 11 years after he was tried and executed for treason.

The offer will run for one day only on Thursday 15th August 2024.

 

One free ticket for the first 100 students to show their A-Level results from 15th August 2024 to entry staff. Results must show at least two Ds, two Es, or one of each.
